I received a cold call from a KPG team member, just out of the blue, regarding my resume they found. This team member was friendly courteous and very excited to help me with a position they believed would be a great fit for me.
Mind you, after not having a full time job for almost a year and having dealt with other agencies that got me nowhere, I was very apprehensive to try another long drawn out process. This was not the case. KPG explained the position as best they could and as detailed as it could be ( keeping the company name confidential is very professional, kudos for that) and relayed what the expected pay would be. We spent the next 10-15 minutes conversing about my job history and what I really was looking for in a new job. This team member took notes of my skills, job preferences, and expected goals when working with a company. After all that, they told me what a great candidate I was and that they would try their best to get me an interview.
The client interviewed two other candidates prior to myself but KPG kept me abreast of everything that was happening, nothing was a surprise. They communicated with me as much as they cold just to keep me motivated and not make me feel like this was a lost cause.
After 6 weeks of waiting, being the 3rd candidate and only 1 interview, I landed the job with one of the biggest healthcare companies in the Inland Empire. The job was not what I expected, it was SO MUCH MORE!
